Welcome to the website of Backing World Group for Cargo (“BWG”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing this website or using our cargo services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use this website or our services.
This document is a general template based on the nature of our company and services and does not constitute legal advice. We recommend that you seek independent legal advice to ensure that these Terms comply with all applicable laws and your specific needs.
Backing World Group for Cargo is a Saudi national cargo company established in 2003. We provide highway transport, air shipping and sea transport within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and between Saudi Arabia and regional markets, including Gulf countries, the Levant, Iraq, Yemen and Egypt.
Depending on the agreement with each customer, our services may include:
Any specific scope of service, route, schedule or charges will be confirmed in writing in our quotations and booking confirmations.
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm Backing World Group for Cargo, our systems or other users. You must not:
We may suspend or block access to the website at any time, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe that it is being misused or used in violation of these Terms.
Any quotation issued by Backing World Group for Cargo is for information purposes only and does not constitute a binding offer. Quotations may be withdrawn or amended at any time before we confirm a booking in writing.
A booking is only accepted when BWG issues a written confirmation, for example by email or any other documented form of confirmation. From that moment, a contract arises between you and BWG for the agreed service, subject to these Terms and any specific written conditions included in the quotation or booking confirmation.
BWG reserves the right to refuse any shipment or booking at its sole discretion, including cases where the cargo may be illegal, unsafe, or non-compliant with applicable laws or internal policies.
As a customer, you are responsible for:
You are responsible for any delays, fines, penalties, additional costs or damages resulting from inaccurate information, improper packing, or failure to provide the necessary documents and approvals.
Backing World Group for Cargo does not accept cargo that is illegal, prohibited by applicable laws, or restricted under the regulations of carriers, ports, airports or authorities. This includes, but is not limited to, cargo that is dangerous, explosive, highly hazardous, or otherwise non-compliant with safety rules.
Certain categories of goods may be subject to special conditions or prior written approval from BWG before acceptance. If cargo is found to be prohibited, misdeclared or unsafe, BWG and/or its carriers and partners may refuse, suspend, return or dispose of such cargo at the customer’s risk and expense, and may report it to the relevant authorities where required.
Our charges are based on our current tariffs and on the rates of carriers and service providers we use at the time of booking. Charges may include, among other items, freight costs, surcharges, documentation fees, handling charges and related third-party costs.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due in accordance with the payment terms stated in our quotation or invoice. BWG may require full or partial payment in advance before arranging transport. If a credit facility is granted, you must pay invoices within the agreed credit period.
If you fail to pay on time, BWG may:
Any transit times, delivery dates or schedules mentioned by BWG are estimates only and are not guaranteed, unless clearly stated in writing as a guaranteed service.
Transit may be affected by many factors beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to customs inspections, port or terminal congestion, weather conditions, strikes, operational issues or force majeure events. BWG is not liable for delays arising from such circumstances.
Backing World Group for Cargo may assist with shipping documentation and basic formal procedures based on the information and documents provided by the customer. We may also coordinate with the concerned authorities and ministries in connection with the cargo movement, in line with our company profile and services.
However, you remain fully responsible for the correctness and completeness of all information and documents submitted for customs or regulatory purposes. Any duties, taxes, penalties, inspection fees or other amounts imposed by authorities are for your account.
BWG may act as a carrier and/or as an organiser of transport and related services. We may subcontract part or all of the services to third-party carriers and partners such as trucking companies, airlines and shipping lines.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for loss of or damage to cargo, or for delay, shall be limited to the rules and limits set out in any applicable transport law, convention or carrier conditions governing the relevant transport leg (for example, road transport, air freight or sea freight conditions).
Backing World Group for Cargo shall not be liable for:
Any claim must be notified to BWG in writing within the time limits set by applicable laws or transport documents. If such notice is not given in time, BWG will have no liability for the claim.
Our service charges do not include cargo insurance as standard. We strongly recommend that customers arrange adequate insurance cover for their shipments against loss, damage or delay.
If you request BWG to arrange cargo insurance, we will do so as your agent and cover will be subject to the terms, conditions and limitations of the insurance policy issued by the insurer. Any claim under such insurance will be handled in accordance with the insurer’s procedures and policy terms.
In the course of providing our services and operating this website, we may collect and process certain personal and business data. Our use of such data will be explained in our separate Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms once published on this website.
By using this website or our services, you agree that your data may be collected and used in accordance with the applicable Privacy Policy.
Backing World Group for Cargo may update or modify this website, its content, our services or these Terms at any time without prior notice. The latest version of these Terms will always be available on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
Your continued use of the website or our services after any changes are made will be considered as acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, or with the use of our services, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Saudi Arabia, without prejudice to BWG’s right to take action in any other jurisdiction where the customer is located or where the cargo is found, when necessary.
